[edit] Quintessence5, Behind the Name

Quintessence5 is just one in a long line of Internet aliases used by Brad W Marshall. Each of which have their own special significance to the author. The word quintessence originates from Ancient Greece and is the name of a cosmology book which he has read, written by astrophysicist Lawrence Krauss, about missing mass in the universe, and indeed the possibility of quintessence actually existing in the physical world. The number 5 was added as quintessence was believed to be the fifth essence or element. The author also uses the word as a watermark which he places in the bottom right corner of all of the NHL desktop wallpapers he creates.
