Quint Chamberlain and Nola Reardon

Quinton "Quint" Chamberlain and Nola Reardon are a fictional supercouple on the American CBS soap opera Guiding Light. Quint was played by Michael Tylo and Nola was played by Lisa Brown. They are known on the internet and message boards as Quola. They were one of the original couples to use this now very common device of combining their first names into one.

Nola and Quinton met in October 1981 in the gazebo at Quinton's home. The gazebo became a romantic symbol for the characters. The couple faced many obstacles, but through many adventures and revelations, they found their way to each other. The couple was married on television on June 24, 1983. They had their first biological child together, Anthony James Chamberlain, in May 1984. They left "Guiding Light" in 1985 to move to the mythical Tanquir.

An attempt to resurrect the characters on GL in 1995 was unsuccessful; Tylo was released from the show shortly after the couple returned, while the character of Nola suffered in inappropriate storylines for her character. Brown subsequently left the show again in 1997.
