Description
Quinapril (Quinapril Hydrochloride marketed as brand of Pfizer Accupril®) is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor.

Quinaprilat competitively inhibits transformation of angiotensin I to angiotensin II and reduce the concentration of angiotensin II in blood. In the result the concentration of aldosterone (which secretion stimulated by angiotensin II) reduce too and the secondary plasma renin activity (PRA) increase.
