StarCraft: Queen of Blades

StarCraft: Queen of Blades is a StarCraft novel written by Aaron Rosenberg and authorized by Blizzard Entertainment, the company that created the hit video game StarCraft. It is available as a softcover and an e-book.
The book takes place during StarCraft Episode II, approximately six weeks after the capture of Sarah Kerrigan by the Zerg.

On Tarsonis, Zerg are protecting a chrysalis and leave for a volcanic planet known as Char.
Jim Raynor and Arcturus Mengsk received visions from the slowly transforming Kerrigan. Mengsk sends his henchman General Duke to Char, the source of the visions. Raynor also follows. The two sides skirmish but Raynor's forces spend most of their time fighting the Zerg on the planet.
The novel covers the meeting of Raynor, Tassadar and Zeratul and the assassination of the Zerg Cerebrate Zasz by Zeratul.
Daniel Liberty from StarCraft: Liberty's Crusade makes a cameo in the novel.
