Quest Archive Manager captures, indexes, and archives e-mail messages from an e-mail server. Once captured, it enables users to search this archive. It is used for mailbox management, compliance and e-discovery, and knowledge sharing. The architecture of Quest Archive Manager is designed to let users access and integrate email data with line of business applications. Archive Manager is produced by Quest Software.

Archive Manager was originally a product known as AfterMail. AfterMail was a small New Zealand company and was acquired by Quest Software in 2006
