Queensland Weekender

Queensland Weekender is a television series airing on Channel 7 Australia. It is a spin off from 'The Great South East'. This decision was made when producers felt a show like it was needed for a Saturday, 5.30pm timeslot. The show has another inter-state sister program 'Sydney Weekender which follows along the same lines. The series has been criticised for its acceptance of corporate advertising.
