From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Queen Elizabeth High School is the main secondary school for the Carmarthen area. Until 2005 it was two different schools: QE Maridunum School and QE Cambria School which were relatively close. In 2005, the two schools merged together as part of a scheme to increase the efficiency of the secondary schools in the town. Mr Tim Day is the current headteacher and the two sites still exist today with Key Stage 3 pupils on the Maridunum site and Key Stage 4 and sixth form on the Cambria site.
