Queen's College, London

Queen's College is an all-girls English public school located in Harley Street, London. It was founded in 1848 by Frederick Denison Maurice, Professor of English Literature and History at King's College, London. Originally it was at number 66, later renumbered to 45. Later still it expanded into number 49.
In 1853 the school was granted a Royal Charter for the furtherance of women's education. This was the first such charter ever granted.
