Quebecor Inc. TSX: QBR (written without an accent on the first e, even in French) is a large Quebec-based communications company. It was founded by Pierre Péladeau, and remains run by his family. Quebecor Inc. has two operating subsidiaries:



Quebecor World Inc. is the second largest commercial printing company in the world, with 39,000 employees around the world.


Quebecor Media Inc. which owns and operates:

    • Vidéotron (cable TV and internet service provider)
    • Sun Media corporation (newspapers)
    • TVA (TV network)
    • Canoe.ca (Internet websites including Canoe.ca/Canoe.com portal and Archambault.ca)
    • Archambault stores (books, music and video)
    • Book publishing companies
    • The number-one magazine publishing company in Quebec
    • Vidéotron Télécom (telecommunications)
    • Le SuperClub Vidéotron (DVD and VHS movie rental stores)
