From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I became a Wikipedian on September 26, 2006 because I want to edit articles. I have gotten so much out of Wikipedia that I really want to start contributing wherever I can. I have already been spreading the word about Wikipedia to everyone I know, usually in the context of expressing my awe for something new I've learned.
The reasons I think I will be useful here include:
- good understanding of grammar
- random knowledge about a variety of topics
- good organizational skills
- appreciation for adhering to accepted formatting styles
- great respect for the Wiki system, and community contributions
- desire to teach through writing
- skill with using Google, getting good information and weeding out the bad
- immense love of learning!
The reason I'm making this User Page is so I can be more than just a name. However, for now, I think I've said all that I need to say: I'm glad to be here, and am looking forward to helping make a difference!!
