Qnext is a Java-based P2P client that provides instant messaging, audio chat, video conferencing, music streaming, photo sharing, online gaming, remote administration, file transferring and file sharing. It can act publicly with existing instant messaging networks such as MSN, AIM, Yahoo! and ICQ or used privately. Qnext also has its own SDK, allowing third-party developers to create their own plug-ins and make them available to the Qnext community.

It allows you to instantly organize a private P2P network for you and your friends.

It doesn't yet support various features from the third party messenger services like special icons, and only supports one account per each service.
