QGD; 3...Nf6

In chess, D35 is the ECO code for the QGD; 3...Nf6 chess opening. The game begins 1.d4 d5 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Nf6. This is a very old line and can transpose into many other queen pawn openings. D35 confines itself mostly to the exchange variations 4.cxd5 exd5 with 5.Bf4, 5.Nf3 or 5.Bg5 (without 6.Qc2 which is examined in D36). It includes the Daniel Harrwitz line 4.Bf4 c5 5.e3 where the c and d pawns are later exchanged and a line that begins 4.cxd5 Nxd5 where White initiates the exchange a move early.
