Qa'em Shahr

Qa'em Shahr (Persian: قائمشهر‎), also spelt Qaemshahr or Ghaemshahr, is a city in the Mazandaran province of Iran. In 1951 Qa'em Shahr's population was 18,000. It was once known as Shahi and before that as `Aliyabad. It is situated 237 km north-east of Tehran; 20 km south-east of Babol; 23 kilometres south west of Sari which is the capital of Mazandaran province.
