Pyrausta
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pyrausta (also called pyrallis, pyragones) was a mythological insect-sized dragon that resembles a salamander with four legs and filmy wings that lived in the fire and died if it went away from the fire. It was allegedly native to Cyprus.
Pyrausta is also used as a genus classification for certain moths.
