Pyramidellinae is one of eleven currently recognised subfamilies of the gastropod family Pyramidellidae; Odostomiinae, Turbonillinae, Chrysallidinae, Cingulininae, Cyclostremellinae, Sayellinae, Syrnolininae, Eulimellinae, Pyramidellinae, Odostomellinae and Tiberiinae. Pyramidellinae was introduced by E Gray in 1840 and includes the genera Pyramidella, Otopleura, Milda and Longchaeus.
