Putu Wijaya

Putu Wijaya is an Indonesian author whose works are interpretable as complex, or quite simply stories about everyday occurrences. It depends how you choose to interpret them. Most would, however say that there is much to be drawn from his work, with themes such as corruption in Indonesia.
