"I don't mean to sound like a broken record," Evil Monkey wrote to me in December 2004, "but here is another image of yours that needs a copyright tag: Image:Pulpit.JPG. Thanks." What I saw there was the {{unverified}} tag.

Now since June 2003 (see above), when I posted this image, there has been the line (see above again), "Photo by KF". Now let's do some thinking. I would hardly post an image where I am the copyright holder and then complain about a copyright violation, would I?

I'm not quite sure what to do (and I may not be the only one). {{pd}} probably—are there any real other options that can be understood by someone who is (a) not American and (b) not a lawyer?

KF, Use {{PD-user|KF}}, thats the PD template I use for all my PD photos. It's a good message because it puts your username into the copyright notice and then there will be no doubt that you took the pic. - Adrian Pingstone 7.15pm, April 30th 2005.
