[edit] Merge proposal

Yemelyan Pugachev is notable only in the context of Pugachev's Rebellion. Now the content is uselessly split between the two. E.g., section "pugachev's legacy" certainly belongs to The Rebellion article. `'mikka (t) 22:35, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

All the info was originally in the Pugachev article, I moved most of it as you said to Rebellion. I don't really care if its merged. David Fuchs 00:10, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
Support the merge, although we have separate articles for Kondraty Bulavin and Astrakhan Rebellion. --Ghirla -трёп- 17:42, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
I humbly oppose merging. I think that there can be a wider discussion of the rebellion, without details of the life and personality of Pugachev, in an article of the rebellion. By the same token, an article of the life of this person needn't contain details of the rebellion. Just my unbiased and humble opinion. Thank you. Piercetp 22:30, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
