Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. Please don't tag an article for speedy deletion if it's already on Vfd, even if you think it meets the speedy deletion criteria. The article is already getting attention, and if it is clearly a speedy deletion candidate it will get deleted anyway.-gadfium 03:06, 28 Jan 2005 (UTC)

[edit] User Page
Hi, Pufferfish. I just stumbled upon your user page, and I noticed your statement at the bottom: "You may not edit any text on this page in any way or I will sue you." While I'm pretty sure you're speaking toungue-in-cheek, I'd just like to alert you that the Wikipedia has a policy against legal threats. I wouldn't want you to get into any trouble for something that you really didn't mean. If you have any questions, just drop me a note on my talk page. Thanks, and have a good day. Bratschetalk random 03:08, Apr 18, 2005 (UTC)
- Well, this is a wiki, so anyone is enabled to edit your user page. I hate to get wrapped up in policy, but according to the one referring to user pages, it is really up to the individual user. I've noticed myself that some users encourage others to correct mistakes or typos on their pages (see Jimbo Wales and Mindspillage), and others like yourself discourage it. So, apparently, it's up to you. I think your policy is fine (I wouldn't want anyone changing my page), but the way it is worded now could be construed as an actual legal claim. Hope this helps. Cheers, Bratschetalk random 03:47, Apr 18, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Stephen Cardinal Kim Sou-hwan
You apparently took this article and moved it to the wrong title;I have done a "poor man's move" back to the right title as well as correcting multiple errors of fact in the original text (generally not your fault but you didn't fix them).Yes,Cardinal Kim was 46 when he became a Cardinal in 1967,which made him youngest at that time, but Paul VI had named a 45-year-old in 1965 and would name a 44-year-old in 1973.The youngest cardinal of the 20th century was not Kim but 37-year-old Leon Skrbensky z Hriste in 1901,followed by 38-year-old Rafael Cardinal Merry del Val in 1903.Likewise,he didn't become senior cardinal (not a formal title) and protoprete until 2004,not 2003.--Louis E./le@put.com/12.144.5.2 02:18, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)
[edit] User:Pufferfish101/Edit
Just a note that User:Pufferfish101/Edit is showing up in Category:Wikipedia basic information. This appears to be a temporary page or sandbox of some kind which probably does not belong in this category. I don't know what you're using it for, so I won't try to fix it myself. -- Beland 01:30, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- The categories were being added because of the transclusion of Template:Please leave this line alone. I copied the text from this template and then deleted the category lines, so the page appears the same, but is no longer in the category. I hope this works for you. Thanks, Beland 02:13, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Yes. Thank you. RabidMonkeysEatGrass, It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine (and I know you will feel fine, too) 21:00, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Your sig
It's funny and all that, but it occupies an entirely line on any page you use it on. There's no strict policy against long sigs, but a lot of people find them annoying. Could you please shorten it a bit? - Mgm|(talk) 11:28, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. The sig you posted on my talk is much better. - Mgm|(talk) 10:05, 3 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] One dollar Federal Reserve Note
I noticed the deletion debate here has fizzled somewhat, but I made some changes to the articles that may further illustrate the points I had been trying to make. Please take a look and let me know what you think. Paul 23:02, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

Thanks, I was already aware of this. I still don't think I will make one though. Sfnhltb 01:08, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
