I deleted the following passage, finding it too speculative: "If most sports are male-dominated in terms of both participants and fans, this may imply that women who lust after male athletes are more likely to be belittled or marginalized using slang or derogatory terms than men who lust after female athletes."

If someone has made this observation elsewhere, then by all means reference it. But this article isn't the place for original commentary--especially when the remark is not relevant specifically to the term "puck bunny."--WadeMcR 07:39, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
