Public Service Broadcast

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Public Service Broadcast (sometimes abbreviated to PSB) is the title of a series of compilation CDs put out by independent record label, Smalltown America.

"The idea behind Public Service Broadcasting is very simple. We squeze as much good music as we can onto a CD, press it as cheaply as we can, sell it for £5 at shows all round the UK and Ireland (as well as online) and re-invest all the profit into the next compilation."[1]

To date, the label have released eight PSBs, showcasing music from roughly 160 bands.
