Psychofreud

PsychoFreud (Anders Eriksen, 1977 Oslo Norway) Is a Norwegian drum&bass musician known for combining the sound of old school ragga jungle with the hard hitting basslines of more recent drum&bass.
Having begun making music in the late 1980's, he is now focusing mainly on ragga drum&bass, hip hop music, dancehall, reggae, house, and breakbeats. PsychoFreud also DJ's when he is not in the studio producing. First known throughout the internet communities with interests in the same music genres because of the website psychofreud.com, which was one of the earliest webpages offering free music without violating any copyright laws - while at the same time having no commercial interest, like banners. In 2005 he signed a record deal with legendary label Knowledge & Wisdom, which is part of the Congo Natty family.
PsychoFreud also runs a reggae soundsystem called Vikings Champion Sound, which had a weekly radio show at Radio Oslo until summer 2005.
In February 2006 he formed the all ragga jungle record label called Bass Rejects with distribution through Nu Urban Music in the UK.
