8mm fuzz the difference engine
The following is the entry for 8mm Fuzz I had written for Wikipedia. It was largely decried as "spam", much to my own confusion. It had initially contained a line about the Fuzz being a "unique addition to the Boston rock scene" which has been deleted. Suggesting this didn't really seem to make a difference. Can anyone give any suggestions as to how to clean up any remaining "spam"?
Additionally, it was also knocked for not having proper sources (its Boston Herald features had been archived and are only available for a cost; despite one featuring 8mm Fuzz as its titular subject, the sources, another one of which from a different publication and was also readily available, apparently didn't make the cut. Can anyone explain why and perhaps help out?). Without further ado:

[edit] History

8mm Fuzz formed in the Summer of 2004 as a three-piece. Founded by Singer/Songwriter Steve Fuzz, bassist Victoria LaRiccia, and drummer Joe Pelosi, the three began to explore a sound equally inspired by late 1970s punk rock and 1980s new wave. They added multi-instrumentalist Chris Brown as a full-time fourth member in the Summer of 2005. The following Fall, the group began writing what would become their debut EP, Youngest Children EP. The EP was released on July 7, 2006, and the single "Hello Taxi, Goodbye Sleep" subsequently received repeated prime time plays on 101.7 WFNX.
