[edit] {{delete}} vs #redirect

I have delete the pages you requested. But I would like to remind you that a #redirect is cheaper then {{delete}} because a #redirect won't need admistrator action (Check the history to make sure the request is not spoofed, check the authors "contributions" list etc. pp).

And we are not saving space in the database either - there is an "undelete" as well ;-).

[edit] Deleting Templates

If there is no good redirect you should mark them for {{delete}}.

[edit] Maple Story in Wikibooks

I think we can go ahead with your second example.

Map Name Monsters Notable Drops Suitable For Pros Cons Comments
Monkey Forest I Lupin (Lv 37, 1500HP, 77xp)

Zombie Lupin (Lv 40, 1800HP, 90xp, weak to holy, undead)

Kumbi, Silver Crow, Leonheart Assassins and Archers level 45+, Warriors and Bandits level 50+ Lots of monkeys running around

Not bad money Good terrain

Their attack hurts

No good drops

Pretty bad training spot, but it's good for bore-breaking once in a while. Lupins hurt too much for this place to be a good spot for money.

And I think for the most part that a template on this simple matter would be a waste... although, if we change it in the future, a template may help us out. IMO, that is a good enough style and I don't think we would change it any time in the near future, so no template needed.

I like it as well. The Captain Returns 23:21, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

This may have a major effect on our wikibooks guide... I'll try to keep you updated on this, hopefully Jimbo will change his decision. --Dragontamer (again, not logged in)

[edit] Barnstar for you!

The Barnstar of Diligence
Hi Prod, I'm awarding you this barnstar for your effort in keeping MapleStory and related articles to a good standard. Without your assistance, I think those pages would be much for the worse. Thank you. enochlau (talk) 03:45, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thank You

Thank you very much for grammarizing my free market addition. Sometimes, i have trouble using the right words. ~Cabd33~

I have read that there was a glitch that allowed people to use the item more than the permitted 1 or 7 days. Any clue if this is true?

[edit] .wz archive

Well I know you're on forums.xentax.com as Omega but hey, I've successfully imported much data from data.wz as possible but I can't seem to find the categories, what items are what. I don't know if the dumper didn't work properly to give me the category information but it's not a good thing when I don't that information. If you can help, can you tell me where I can find the category info? Thanks a bunch Mapletip 04:38, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Inside the directories are dumps with information such as level, dex, int, str, luk requirment, weapon attack, and more. Unfortunately, I don't have the category. The category tells me that if the item is a spear, pole arm, etc. Rick told me that it does exist in the data.wz archive BUT I can't find it. Mapletip 11:39, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Seems the dumper breaks down at weddingGL, I unfortunately don't know anything about python, but I only know PHP. So I was wondering if you could help me out :) Mapletip 02:54, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hey

Mason11987 from StrategyWiki here, not surprised you're doing work here too. :) Chris M. 23:29, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] MapleStory on en.wikibooks

If you could, please mark all the images from MapleStory (or others) with the {{d}} tag. This way myself or another admin can sweep through them at a later date. Thanks. -withinfocus 20:33, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Just Wondering

Prod, have you played maplestory? because IMHO i think that parties and rankings are not "minor" in the game. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Davud363000 (talkcontribs) 00:53, 4 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Recent patch

Hi Prod, this is Life from mapletip and the new patch comes with something that inteferes with the Lambda extractor. I've tried fixing it myself, however it seems I would get lost after trying to debug it. I believe the error comes from the fact that entries is equal to zero, causing it to have no possible index for the values. However, I am not sure since I am not a python programmer. If you can assist me, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance! Mapletip 04:54, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks, let me know what happens. Mapletip 22:41, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Just to let you know what I have came up with so far. I have investigated far and realized the issue with the [2, 3, 4] error is that 0x01 is missing in "filetype = rU8(f)  ; checkA(filetype, [0x02, 0x03, 0x04], f)". Adding 0x01 will fix the error. Also, for some reason the value has decrease to 73, thus 0x73 must be changed to 0x49. The last issue, I have no clue what it is about. I get \\x2a\\x60\\x02\\x00 and it expects property. I thinking Wizet has changed their encryption, let me know what you think. Mapletip 05:12, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. That what I had thought happened. Thanks for the feedback. For a first edit, it was rather... comforting that I didn't screw it up. Landus Mikain 05:41, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
