[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Pro-zeiko.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Pro-zeiko.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. — TKD (Talk) 16:14, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pro-Zeiko
I noticed that the text of Pro-Zeiko was copied from http://pro-zeiko.area030.org/prosite/index-3.html . Do you have any proof from the copyright holder that this text is allowed to be distributed under the GNU Free Documentation License? If not, it will have to be deleted and/or reworded in such a way that does not infringe on copyrights. Thanks. — TKD (Talk) 16:14, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Given your use name, it is likely that distribution is allowed but we still need proof. However, given your user name, I assume this is a vanity page - and we do not like vanity pages. And above all we do not want the same vanity posted six times. I have moved all versions to your user page. I suggest you leave it there until someone else thinks you are notable and writes an article about you. -- RHaworth 07:26, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
