Template talk:Promocomic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There has long been confusion over this category of images, which represent the cover art to a comic book, which is released digitally to the online media and to the public through solicitations. The image is not in actuality the cover to a comic book, as it contains no indicia, titles, text or other publication identifiers, and has on occasion been changed prior to the issue's actual publication. This template clarifies the situation which previously saw the images tagged either as {{comiccover}}, {{promo}}, or sometimes both. Steve block Talk 20:02, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
