then by logic you should make George W Bush also called George Bush JR because people make that mistake as well.

He is called George Bush Jr. and I don't see why the article shouldn't say that, and then explain why it is wrong. This article does the same just fine. Encyclopedia articles should be prescriptive, telling people what to call something, it should describe what various people call it so that the reader can choose which one is most correct. Tuf-Kat

Why should incorrect factual information i e names be given the appereance of being correct. By saying also know as steamrollers ( When the team WAS NEVER called steamrollers) implies that the team went by both names when they did not. Unless you have some offical documents from either the team or the NFL stating the team was called steamrollers why even put that it in the article?

I have no problems with the current version. Tuf-Kat

So than are we cool with the wording "incorrectly called" ?

I can live with that By the way my name is Keith, of course some people will mispelled that as Kieth so I guess I really should write it as Keith (incorrectly called Kieth)

I must disagree. The team itself used the plural name (in the Hall of Fame there is or used to be a sideline jacket with "STEAM ROLLERS" on the back) so it can't be "incorrect." --Chancemichaels 16:04, 28 July 2006 (UTC)Chancemichaels
