Does anybody know when the Progenitor Virus was discovered? I've added a fair amount of info to this page, and while doing so I've found that apparently Progenitor was discovered on December 4th 1967. Funny that, since Jessica and Lisa Trevor were injected with weaponized versions of Progenitor in NOVEMBER 1967.

I'm not exactly sure. I don't recall that Capcom ever released information regarding the whereabouts of the Progenitor's discovery. According to information from Ozwell E. Spencer's article, the Progenitor was discovered during the 1950's, whilst studying the Ebola. This makes no sense though, since the Ebola was first discovered in '76.

According to Wesker's Report, The Ebola and Progenitor were combined in '78, leading to the eventual development of the T-Virus. The virus was then tested on Lisa Trevor that following year, leading Wesker and Birkin to develop a ethical objections to the projects. So, I suggest cutting out the details about the virus' creation until we can find some solidifying evidence --ShadowJester07 23:10, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
