The Providence Stadium in Guyana will be the largest stadium in Guyana and is built for the 2007 Cricket World Cup. The entire complex will include a large multiplex, hotels, a riverview resort and a theme park. Buddy's Hotel will be located adjacent to the stadium, and it will have many luxurious guest rooms.

The stadium is located along the Demerara River and is just outside Georgetown. It is conveniently located along the East Bank Highway and is about ten minutes driving time from the city centre of Georgetown and about 30 minutes driving time from the airport.
