Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau (EKHN) is a protestant, liberal church in the German state of Hesse. The seat of the united church is in Darmstadt.

It is a full member of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD), and is based on the teachings brought forward by Martin Luther during Reformation. Church President is Prof. Dr. Peter Steinacker (2006). There is no bishop.

The church is one of 23 churches in the EKD. The seat of the church is in Darmstadt. Around 1,810,000 members in 1,184 parishes are in the EKHN (December 2005).

Main church of the EKHN is the Paulus Church in Darmstadt.

The EKHN has its own evangelical academy in Arnoldshain.

The territory of the EKHN is in the south part of the German state Hesse and also some parts of the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

The Evangelical Church of Hesse and Nassau was founded in the years 1946/1947 by a fusion of the former independet three churches: Evangelical Church in Hesse, Evangelical Church in Nassau, Evangelical Chuch in Frankfurt. All three member churches have a different history.
