About PIF-Protect Indian Family, and our concerns: http://www.protectindianfamily.org

Laws like IPC 498a, Domestic Violence Act, etc. are misused and the Husband and his family get arrested and entangled in long-drawn legal proceedings. Arrests could happen even without any witness, evidence or police investigation, on the basis of just a false complaint by wife. Protect Indian Family is an NGO member of a movement called “SAVE INDIAN FAMILY”. A rapidly growing group of more than 5000 families. The regional teams in different states of India, have launched self-funded phone help-lines. The guys next door, who happen to be innocent victims of this Legal Terrorism, manage these teams.

Vision
To facilitate a better family system in India, by making marriage a worthy and constructive proposition. To discourage legalisation of inter-personal issues, to replace unworthy and destructive legal procedures with values, respect, maturity and love, when it comes to solving inter-personal issues in a family.

2. Complaints to be accepted only under affidavit of the complainant and verification by a competent authority (complainant should affirm that the complaint is true, or face suitable punishment if the complaint is found false)
3. The burden of proof should be on the complainant, accused should not be presumed guilty until proven innocent (both in line with other criminal offences)
