Prospect (Slovenian band)

Prospect is a progressive metal band from Ljubljana, Slovenia, with roots at Dream Theater. As it is directed to the international market all their lyrics are in English language.

The group was founded in 1999 when their first album, #1 was released. It was warmly accepted among local heavy metal fans and also abroad. In 2002 their second album, Moments, was released. To mention only some of their concerts, they were an opening band of Paul Di'Anno (former Iron Maiden vocal) during his tour in Ljubljana and Zagreb in 2001, most of October 2003 they participated at the The Bonded of Metal over Europe tour with other renowned bands of progressive metal genre, in July 2004 they were a supporting group of Queensrÿche during the Austrian part of their tour.

In 2002 Simon Jovanovič left the group and started his own project. After a long time of searching, Robi Grdič replaced him as a vocal.
