Prosopium abyssicola |
Prosopium is a genus of fish in the trout/salmon family Salmonidae. The six species are primarily known from North America, with the round whitefish P. cylindraceum also widely found in the rivers of Siberia. Three of the species (Prosopium gemmifer, Prosopium spilonotus, and Prosopium abyssicola) are endemic to Bear Lake on the Utah-Idaho border.
