Propiomazine

Propiomazine (brand names: Largon, Propavan, Indorm) is an atypical antipsychotic, which is used to treat negative and positive symptoms of schizophrenia, acute mania with bipolar disorder, agitation and psychotic symptoms in dementia. It is also used to treat insomnia, and to produce sleepiness or drowsiness and to relieve anxiety before or during surgery or other procedures and in combination with analgetics also during labor. It is a phenothiazine derivative and can be administered intramuscularly or intravenously.
