Project X could refer to:

  • Project X Presents, an artistic community based in Birmingham UK specialising in producing unique live performance events that weave many strands of artistic endeavour into a holistic whole.
  • Project X Foundation for Art and Criticism, publisher of X-TRA: Contemporary Art Quarterly. X-TRA is published in Los Angeles by a collective of artists and writers, providing an expansive outlet for projects related to contemporary visual arts. They publish diverse critical approaches including expansive features, historical essays, commissioned artist's projects, interviews, and substantive exhibition and book reviews.
  • Project X, innovative Mac OS X Project Management software by Marware deemed "Project Management for the rest of us!". Had been announced for March 2006 but has not been released since.
  • A United States political scandal involving controversial technology administrator Laura Callahan, who allegedly threatened subordinates with jail if they did not conceal computer problems leading to the disappearance of thousands of subpoenaed White House emails.
  • a retail package sold by radio station WNNX-FM (99X) in Atlanta. Proceeds benefited a local charity. Project X contained the following items:
      1. Live X CD
      2. Interactive CD containing a video trivia game, screensavers, a customized web browser
      3. A calendar containing important dates
      4. A "big ticket" to be redeemed at future station events
