Project Chaos is an album of 35 musical pieces; contemporary "rearrangements" of the music from the video games Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic & Knuckles for the Sega Genesis. Project Chaos is a non-profit collaboration of musicians and lovers of Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles, the soundtracks of which having been composed by Brad Buxer, Bobby Brooks, Darryl Ross, Geoff Grace, Doug Grigsby III & Scirocco and Howard Drossin respectively.

The project began by having the participating artists pick tracks to recreate. Andreas Kotsamanidis, concerned about the quality of the project, joined midway as co-director before eventually assuming the majority of directorial duties. The finished product was officially released and spotlighted as OverClocked ReMix's eighth Site Project on November 19, 2006. As of December 11, 2006, the MP3 CD album torrent was downloaded over 4,000 times.
