Professor Pat Pending, voiced by Don Messick, is a racer from Wacky Races. Pat drove the number 3 car, the Convert-a-Car, which could change into anything on wheels. In one race, it converted into an exact copy of the Slag Brothers' car and left them cheering him on. The wacky professor and his car reappeared as a boss car in the Wacky Races video game, where he was voiced by Scott Innes. The name Pat Pending comes from the term patent pending.
