Professor Dementor (real last name Demenz) is a fictional villain from Disney's Kim Possible.
[edit] About Professor Dementor
Dementor is a mad scientist and bitter rival of Dr. Drakken. Drakken and Dementor are apparently the world's two foremost mad scientists (although Dementor is much more famous), and the two of them are in competition to see who can conquer the world first. Like Drakken, Dementor has henchmen, evil inventions, etc. But while he has been known to steal the odd scientific doo-dad from time to time, unlike Drakken (who mostly relies on stealing the inventions of others), Dementor relies on building his own inventions, which actually work quite well.
Dementor's inventions included the Transportulator Module (a teleportation device stolen by Kim Possible), the Bondo-Ball (a powerful molecular adhesive), and his Dramatic Villain Light (self-explanatory). Dementor seems to have significantly better minions, resources, and overall confidence than Drakken, and as a result Drakken resents him greatly.
Dementor is also the only one of Kim's major foes who has never teamed up with another villain to further one of his schemes (most likely because he prefers to rely on his own abilities). Unlike most of the other villains, Dementor comes across as sane, competent and not particularly freakish. At least he was in the beginning. When he first appeared, he was probably the most "serious" of the show's villains. His only real quirks were the fact he's rather short, wears a metal face-mask, seems to possess an unhealthy orangey complexion, and has a habit of talking in a loud, high-pitched voice with a thick stereotypical German accent. However, in later episodes, when he started coming up with bizarre tactics such as slavering mutant dachshunds, gift shop booby traps and his patented "dramatic villain light" (which is really just a flashlight with a red bulb that he shines under his face). It's become more and more apparent that he's maybe a few test tubes short of a chemistry set. In fact, it could be argued that like DNAmy, Dementor is pretty much a prisoner of his own insanity, which is probably the only thing that's kept him from becoming a serious threat to the world.
In Rewriting History, it's revealed that Dementor had an ancestor who was just as much a brilliant (though somewhat unethical) inventor as the modern-day Dementor, although this was revealed to be part of an episode-long dream sequence and could be out of canon.
Ironically, Drakken and Dementor share a lair in a time-share development. In the 1st season episode, Mind Games, Drakken was forced to destroy it after learning that Wade had informed the army of its location. Fortunately for Dementor, he had moved out at the time. It was featured again in Rewriting History, when Drakken had to move into it while his main lair was being fumigated for giant mutant termites, though this was also during the dream sequence.
Dementor's surname is Demence; both his real name and villain alias refer to the mental condition dementia.
Professor Dementor is voiced by Patton Oswalt.
