[edit] Is this appropriate reporting style or should we add a disclaimer?

Guess it might draw a bit of criticism in my name but the Priyadarshini Mattoo case is one of the few high profile cases that was widely covered by the media and other sources. However, the word by word statement from the media has been reported as a report in this Encyclopedia. Just wondering whether it is appropriate for Wikipedia. I guess, this makes an interesting read for any one who wants to read about the media coverage and versions of the story but I guess it is better if this came with a bit of hindsight to the reader stating that this is not an investigation report but an aggregate of all media reportings of the issue.

The case which has re-iterated the publics belief on the legal system in india. Deep Kumar

Very interesting case - Ummer

The conviction will most probably be challenged in the Supreme Court of India, but the verdict and the process is seen as a barometer of a changing India. In particular, it is hoped now that media pressure can be brought to bear in the case of prominent accused such as Manu Sharma or Vikas Yadav or Sanjeev Nanda, and that eventually, the ability of the powerful to remain above the law would be curtailed.
