Now I'm not sure this warants an article on its own? Is there really that much material that we cannot include it on the main 'state terror' page? Perhaps we need that broader pager with just general human rights abuses in Sri Lanka, since there are several other issues that related to this, such as torture and rape in custody of both Tamil's and Sinhala, e.g. that poor Sinhala Balloon seller who was tortured to death after being falsely accused of making crank calls to a school, all because someone at the school didn't know how to use their phone! It seems his number was stored on the phone since he often helped provide balloons for school functions so they accused him of being the one who called in the threat, after which he was beaten so severly in jail that he died 5 days later.--Realstarslayer 15:55, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

- The article is WP:Notable because the subject matter is known across the world as a sub set of the civilian massacres in Sri Lanka. It is WP:Verifiable because each sub section or link, has its own citation and we can find citation's on it own. The article is WP:NPOV because it states the fact as is. Whether one encompassing article on Human Rights violations in Sri Lanka should be source of all information is debatable as each notable incident will be lost on such a gigantic article that will be a source of lot of edit conflicts. I am not writing that article, I will stick to verifiable, notable incidents that can be written on a neutral tone. The most extend I can go is the State terrorism in Sri Lanka because again it is a writable article as long as we stick to the definition. All these incidents can be brought together in broader titles such as Mass graves in Sri Lanka, Prison massacres in Sri Lanka, Civilian massacres by the Sri Lankan forces, Attack on NGO workers in Sri Lanka that can be linked to State terrorism in Sri Lanka, Ethnic problem in Sri Lanka and the yet to be written Human rights violations in Sri Lanka article as well as appropriate links to other articles such as List of countries that have committed state terrorism, a general article on Attack on NGO workers across the world, the NGO and other relevant articles, or at least that is my game planRaveenS 17:16, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
