Just an observation. I followed the link to the Mars expedition to find out more on this example of priority inversion. I didn't find anything in the body of the text that suggested obvious priority inversion; the text essentially says 'probably the battery ran out and it froze'. It just occurs to me to check the references on *this* article, as maybe this will explain more. But it would be nice to have a smoother linkage to this interesting and prominently featured example. The second-to-last paragraph of this article, about priority ceilings, should be expanded to include better explanation for non-technical readers. 68.50.203.109 03:54, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
