[edit] Move

The lady never became empress-consort of Austria since her husband shot himself before he assumed the throne. Therefore request to move to her maiden form of title. Gryffindor 12:24, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

  • Support - To the casual observer, Stephanie would appear to be the deceased Empress/Queen consort of Emperor/King Someone of Somewhere, since her article is titled as those of Mary of Teck and Alexandra Fyodorovna of Hesse. She is not. Prsgoddess187 12:54, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
  • Support as per Wiki standards, this woman was never queen-empress. Charles 14:46, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Search Issues

Typing

Stephanie of Belgium

in the search box doesn't find this page. However, typing

"Stephanie of Belgium"

does. A subtle point, but rather user unfriendly, no?

Considering this lady never became empress-consort of Austria, shouldn't this article's name revert to her maiden form of "Princess Stéphanie of Belgium"? Wikipedia:Naming conventions (names and titles) on naming queen consorts (point 9) does not apply in this case, but point 4. Gryffindor 11:21, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
