  • Weak disagree. Ah, the old Western Sahara wordgame. Well, I don't really care either way, but I'm not very fond of the efforts to minimize the number of articles including the words Western Sahara. That has more to do with prickly nationalism than any great love for detail. I believe that "Western Sahara" is common usage for "Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic", just as "Libya" is common usage for the equally cumbersome "Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriyya". That this article is about the proclaimed government of Western Sahara, which is not universally recognized, is clearly evident from the text, so I don't think that would be a problem for people espousing the Moroccan viewpoint. • Update on that. There's a number of pages where a similar move is being discussed (Politics, Prime Minister, President, Elections, Foreign rel:s, and possibly others). I think we should consider keeping them within the same "family", meaning we should be consistent in the names. Since some of the pages should not under any circumstances be moved (mainly Foreign Rel:s & Politics & Elections), this might affect pages such as this one (& President), where the naming is not very important. Just a thought. Arre 15:49, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
