This is dreadful. I started to try to edit this article, but whoever wrote the original was so poorly-informed that the entire article needs to be thoroughly rewritten. The "Primavera" is one of the most iconographically-complex (and argued-about) paintings in the History of Art. Let's start trying to do it justice.
