Stephan Obrieski is a fictional secondary character from Gearbox Software's Brothers in Arms series.

Stephan Obrieski was born in Poland and immigrated to the United States leaving his parents behind. After the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor Obrieski volunteered for the United States Army and volunteered for the newly activated airborne divisions to proove he was a real American. Obi was able to make it through the intense physical training that paratroopers are forced to undergo and got his wings. Obrieski's unit is 3rd Squad, 3rd Platoon, Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 502 PIR (Parachute Infantry Regiment), 101st Airborne Division. Obrieski along with the rest of the 101st Airborne Division was sent to England and began to train for the upcoming invasion of Europe which was to be called "Operation Overlord." He was in the fire team under Hartsock. He appears to be friends with Pfc. Tom Zanovich. Before they left England, Obi asked whether they knew if anyone knew they were back home alive. Zanovich replies he will miss him.

High above the Normandy countryside on June 6, 1944 Obrieski and his squad were set to drop behind enemy lines and to help secure causeways leading off of Utah Beach and to otherwise disrupt German defenses. However, during the drop the inexperienced pilots that were to drop the paratroopers behind enemy lines were startled by the incredible amount of flak put up by the German defenders and as a result many C47s flew too low and/or fast to avoid the deadly flak and as a result the paratroopers were dropped all over the Normandy country side. Obrieski's plane was no different.

Stephan Obrieski's dream was to go back to Poland and to find his family again and save them from the nazis. He was known to hate Benjamin Kevin "Legs" Legget, because he thought he was responsible of Privates James Allen & Kevin Garnett's death and because he destroyed the only bar left in the city of Carentan.

He participated in fights such as Purple Heart Lane, Colonel Cole's charge, and Carentan, where he was killed: a sniper ripped his head in half with a headshot while he was smoking and talking on a belltower, he then fell down the belltower and his body was not seen again.
