Private Bin

The Private Bin was a popular nightclub during the 1980s and 1990s in Canberra, Australia frequented often by rugby players and soldiers. The club was located on Northbourne Avenue, in Civic in the Sydney building. The club had a bar, several levels and incorporated the Waffles Piano Bar. It held comedy nights on Wednesdays, and sometimes held school socials. The club was one of the most well known nightclubs in Canberra before it closed.
Comedian David Callan spent three years performing stand up comedy at the club between 1990 and 1993. [1]
Spree killer Julian Knight was involved in a stabbing incident at the nightclub.
