Princess Salimah Aga Khan

HH Princess Salimah Aga Khan (born January 28, 1940) was born in India as Sarah Frances Croker-Poole, better known as Sally Croker-Poole, and was a fashion model prior to her wedding to the fourth Aga Khan, Prince Karim Aga Khan, in 1969. She was then formally known as Her Highness the Begum Salima, prior to their divorce in 1995. She is now a child-welfare activist and a prominent supporter of the charity SOS Children.
(January 28, 1940-), informally known as Sally, though officially known as Her Highness Begum Salimah during her marriage to Aga Khan IV (1969-1995) is a former model.
She bore three children for Aga Khan;
- Princess Zahra Aga Khan (b. September 18, 1970)
- Prince Rahim Aga Khan (b. October 12, 1971)
- Prince Hussain Aga Khan (b. April 10, 1974)
Her first husband was Lord James Crichton-Stuart, an English nobleman; they were divorced shortly before her marriage to the Aga Khan.
Today she lives in London with Phillipe Lizop, the French lawyer who secured Sally her divorce settlement.
