Princess Louise Charlotte of Denmark

Princess Louise Charlotte of Denmark (30 October 1789 — 28 March 1864) was a princess of Denmark.
She was born in Christiansborg Palace to Hereditary Prince Frederick of Denmark and Norway and Sophie Frederikke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1758-1794), Princess and Duchess of Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
On 10 November 1810 she married Wilhelm, Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel. They were parents to:
- Karoline Friederike Marie of Hesse-Cassel (15 August 1811 - 10 May 1829).
- Marie Luise Charlotte of Hesse-Cassel (9 May 1814 - 28 July 1895). Married Friedrich August of Anhalt-Dessau.
- Louise of Hesse-Cassel (7 September 1817- 29 September 1898). Married Christian IX of Denmark.
- Friedrich Karl George Adolf, Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel (26 November 1820 - 14 October 1864). Married Grand Duchess Alexandra Nikolaevna of Russia, a daughter of Nicholas I of Russia and Charlotte of Prussia.
- Auguste Sophie Friederike of Hesse-Kassel (30 October 1823 - 17 July 1899. Married Charles Frederick, Baron of Nasbyholm.
- Sophie Wilhelmine of Hesse-Cassel (18 January - 20 December 1827).
Louise Charlotte is a direct matrilineal ancestor of Nicholas II of Russia.
