Princess Fadila of Egypt

Dominique-France Picard (born 23 November 1948) was the last Queen consort of Egypt.

Born in Paris as the daughter of Robert Loeb and his wife Paule Picard, as a student of 29 she was writing her doctoral thesis at the University of Sorbonne on the psychology of women in The Book of One Thousand and One Nights; both for the first time; at Monaco's royal palace. There, for the first time, she met and began her courtship with HM King Ahmad Fuad II of Egypt, whom she married on 16 April 1976 in Paris. They divorced in 1996.

They have 3 children: HRH Prince Muhammad Ali of Egypt, HRH Prince Fawzia Latifa of Egypt and HRH Prince Fakhreddin of Egypt.

She is now known as the HRH the Princess Fadila of Egypt and lives in Paris with her family.
