Princess Dragonmom is an American noise music and performance art group. The group began in 1993 in Livonia, Michigan. Started as an electronic three-piece jamming noise unit, Princess Dragonmom quickly evolved into a performance-based loud volume concept act. At live appearances, various friends of the group have helped create such performance pieces as YOUR BIRTHDAY, where audience members were given gifts by a huge, noisy cupcake; THE HAUNTED TUBE, where visitors crawled through a maze of loud, horrible sounds while being scared by monsters and violence; UFO DOCTOR ("The doctor is trying to help this alien, but he's already dead"); IN THE DEEP, the icy struggle of a whale in the deep sea; and many others including the annual Noise Camp (now in its eleventh year). Princess Dragonmom has performed in galleries, museums and nightclubs in the United States, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Japan. Using everyday household items and harsh electronic sound, Princess Dragonmom aims to transform the performance space into a surreal and wonderful playground for all ages. Current members of the group include Davin Brainard, Warn Defever, Ronald Cornelissen, Dion Fischer, Erika Hoffmann, Jeremy Kallio, and MOG. The group's albums are produced by the Time Stereo recording label.
